Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about GolfMetrix online golf fitting.

We accept data from all major launch monitors including TrackMan, Foresight GCQuad/GC3, Garmin R10/Approach, FlightScope Mevo+/X3, Rapsodo MLM2Pro, GolfJoy, SkyTrak, and more. If your device can measure ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and carry distance, we can work with it. Just upload a screenshot, CSV export, or enter the numbers manually.

Your fitting report is delivered within 24 hours of receiving your data. Most reports are completed even sooner. You'll receive an email notification when your report is ready to view.

At minimum, we need your ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and carry distance from your driver. The more data points you can provide, the better. Things like club speed, smash factor, and attack angle help us refine the analysis. You'll also tell us your current driver, shaft, and ball so we know what you're working with.

An in-person fitting lets you physically try different clubs, which is valuable. GolfMetrix gives you the analytical side — identifying which equipment specifications will optimise your numbers — without the time, travel, or cost of a shop visit. Many customers use our report to narrow down options before trying them in store, or to validate what a shop recommended. Our fitters are PGA-certified with the same expertise you'd find at a premium fitting studio.

We're 100% brand independent. Our recommendations are based purely on what your data says will perform best for your swing. We have no affiliations, sponsorships, or kickbacks from any manufacturer. If a Callaway driver suits your numbers better than a TaylorMade, that's what we'll recommend, and we'll explain exactly why.

No. You can manually enter your numbers directly on the submission form — no device required. If you've hit balls at a range, simulator, or golf shop that had a screen showing your ball speed, spin, and carry, those numbers are all we need. If you do have a launch monitor (TrackMan, Garmin R10, Rapsodo, FlightScope, GCQuad, etc.) you can upload a screenshot or CSV file instead. Either way works perfectly.

Yes. We stand behind every report. If you have any concerns with your fitting analysis, contact us directly and we'll make it right.

Currently we specialise in driver fittings, as that's where the biggest distance gains are found. Iron and wedge fitting is on our roadmap — sign up for a driver fitting and we'll let you know when it's available.
